Hello to all our friends and family,
Today we received our email update from Isabel. Not much to report, but currently there are 9 birth mother's with our agency and all of them have been matched with a family. Joe and I are kind of relieved with this as one of the birth mothers was due in less then 4 weeks and she was looking at our profile. Joe and I just didn't think we could be ready in 4 weeks, although we kept telling our selves if she did chose us it was because god felt that this little bundle would of been meant for us and he would of provided us what we would of needed to be prepared. We are just looking at everyday as another day to build up our adoption account and be better prepared to give our child a better life.
We are currently working on the nursery though, we were going to wait until we had our referral, but all the reading I have done said to start before, that it will help keep us busy, and we will feel more prepared, especially if we were to get a spontaneous referral. So as of last weekend my dad [papa] came over and dry-walled off the pocket door, so we are working on mudding and sanding that, and hopefully be able to start painting this weekend.
I would also like to thank all of you for your compliments and input with this web page, we have had a few ask how to leave comments for us..... at the end of each blog there is the word comment in green and all you have to do is click it and it will allow you to write a comment to us.
